Robbery at SunTrust Bank in Black Mountain

Suntrust Bank in Black Mountain was held up Thursday around noon. That makes it the sixth bank robbery in the mountains this year.
The robbery at the bank on Highway 9 was robbed by a woman. Police say she did not show a gun and no body was hurt. Bank customers learned about the robbery after being turned away at the door.
The person who robbed the First Citizens Bank on Leicester Highway Wednesday was also a woman. Police are now trying to figure out if the crimes are connected.
