Second Swain County Teen Death

The people of Swain County are dealing with a second tragedy in just two-days, the death of another well known and well liked teenager.
16-year-old Nate Southards was a junior at Swain County High School, who died early Monday morning.
The sheriff's office is still investigating the case. Nate's death comes less than two-days after 19-year-old Tyler Bowman was killed in an ATV accident.
Tyler was a 2012 Swain County graduate. Grief counselors have been brought into the high school.
A memorial will be held for both teens on Friday at the school.
That service is for students and staff.
