Sex Charges Against Teacher Dropped

A sex charge against a former Boiling Springs High School teacher has been dropped.
Abby McElhenny was 23-years-old when she was arrested in June of 2011 for having a sexual relationship with a male student. At the time, deputies said she exchanged more than 750 text messages with the student and witnesses reported seeing them holding hands and eating breakfast together.
Court documents show the charge was dropped last month, but there's no word on why.
