SoCon Begins Today

March madness returns to Asheville!
The Southern Conference Basketball Tournament starts today at the US Cellular Center.
Downtown bars and restaurants are prepared to be slammed with customers and many say they are fully staffed for the weekend.
Last year, 41,000 fans came to watch the tournament, organizers are expecting even more this year.
You can also expect increased traffic in and around downtown as well.
The men's teams are playing at the Civic Center.
The women's teams are playing at the Kimmel Arena at UNCA.
