Tax Refunds Delayed

Hundreds of thousands of taxpayers who filed through H&R Block are waiting longer for their refunds.
Customers who used H&R Block between February 14th and the 22nd, and took an education credit are waiting about a month longer to get their cash back. There was a software change to the education tax credit form 8863.
The IRS and H&R Block are fixing the problem but if you filed during mid-February, your refund may be taking longer. Tax preparers say it's important to do your homework before having your taxes done. If you're still waiting for your refund, check with your local H&R Block office or the IRS.
