Two Fatals Accidents in Asheville

Asheville Police are investigating two
separate accidents involving pedestrians, both of which were fatal. The
first happened around 6:08pm on Airport Rd. Police say the male victim
was in the roadway when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck. His
name has not been released. There's no word yet if the driver will be
charged, but police say it was not a hit and run. The second accident
was reported at 6:17pm on Patton Ave. Police say more information will
be released on both cases when the victims' families have been notified.
