Union Mills Couple Injured In Fire

An elderly Rutherford County husband and wife are badly injured in a house fire. It happened Sunday afternoon on Hudlow Road in Union Mills. Neighbors say the couple escaped the burning house, but were hurt when they went back inside to save their pets. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Neighbors are taking care of the couple's dogs while they're in the hospital.
