Voter ID Debate

There’s more debate over a proposed bill that could require a photo ID to vote in North Carolina.
State representatives held a public hearing Tuesday in Raleigh.
The issue has many divided often along political lines.
Some say a photo ID would bring more accuracy to elections.
Others say it would be a hardship for some minorities, the elderly, and those with special needs to get a picture ID.
A photo ID bill passed two years ago by Republican lawmakers but it was vetoed by former Democratic Governor Bev Perdue.
