Watching For Obama

More than 100 people braved chilly, wet weather to get a good look at the arrival and departure of Air Force One.
The prime spot for viewing the runway at Asheville Regional Airport is the Lowe’s parking lot, right across I-26. Many in the crowd were there to greet President Obama, others simply to see the famous plane that flies him around the world. The Lowe’s lot also provided a good vantage point for seeing the motorcade.
Many see this type of event as perhaps a once in a lifetime experience.
