One of the most popular athletes of the Summer Olympics is finally back to competition after running at UNC Charlotte last weekend. This was a major milestone after over seven months of rehabilitation.
It's been seven months since Manteo Mitchell became a US Olympic hero after breaking his leg during a relay race London. He famously finished despite the injury, paving the way for the US to take the silver medal.
Mitchell says he's not a hero, just an athlete who did not want to let his teammates down.
Tonight at 11, we'll follow him to Charlotte for one of the biggest runs of his life. The broken leg continues to be in the back of his mind.
We'll tell you what he's done to help him remember the injury for ever. Also, find out why the comeback trail has been an eye-opening experience for reasons outside the track. Find out about his true inspiration, tonight.
