Cherokee could soon help with the weather. High school students launched a weather balloon Friday morning and sending it on it's way to the edges of space.
It's a science and physics lesson. Students showed their pride by spelling out in the Cherokee language the word for "Cherokee."
The images are taking the reservation to new heights. Three cameras are on board the balloon, which is being tracked by GPS.
