Robbery Caught On Tape (07/15/08)

A brazen store robbery is caught on tape in Canton. It happened at the Maxway Department store... in broad daylight.
Police say the thief asked the clerk to take a flat screen tv out of the box so he could look at it.
As he did so, a female accomplice is seen pulling a getaway car up to the door.
Seconds later, surveillance video captures the man grabbing the tv and taking off.
The flatscreen is worth about $500, which means both suspects are facing misdemeanor larceny charges.
