The race for mayor heads for the home stretch this week in Asheville. Voters will re-elect incumbent Terry Bellamy or chose newcomer Robert Edwards. Bellamy says there are many projects, like a downtown master plan, greenways plan and affordable housing plan she'd like to see completed. Edwards, just 22, wants to offer voters a change from the same old politics of borrowing and spending so his generation doesn't get stuck with the tab.
