Starting Monday, November 2nd, Eblen-Kimmel Charities will begin offering heating assistance to families in Buncombe County.
The agency's executive director says it's already been receiving calls from people needing help.
He says last year Eblen-Kimmel helped more than 6,000 families with heating and utility assistance and that this year will likely be that and more.
The heating assistance is offered as a partnership between Eblen-Kimmel Charities and Buncombe County DSS.
