One family's trip to the ER lands more family members in the hospital. The Kimzeys had to take their two teenage sons to Park Ridge after they were involved in a fight in July.

They say the doctor on duty asked them to help stitch up one of their sons. Jennifer Kimzey started to help, and within a few minutes passed out. She suffered a brain injury because of the fall that the Kimzey's say wasn't diagnosed, because the doctor didn't order a MRI - only an x-ray for her back. The Kimzey's are asking for help paying for their part of medical bills resulting from the fall.

Park Ridge Hospital can't discuss the Kimzey's case by law. But the hospital did issue this statement:

"Park Ridge Hospital is held to patient privacy standards and regulations. By law we do not have the right to discuss our patient's history or their care. Anytime a patient shares a concern regarding their experience at the hospital, Park Ridge Hospital investigates the issue and follows up with the individual expressing the concern.
