We now know the name of a teen whose father died trying to rescue him after an accident at a waterfall in Western North Carolina.
It happened around noon Sunday at Bust your Butt Falls as it is nicknamed, near the town of Highlands.
Emergency crews tell us 12-year old Michael Grady of Maitland, Florida, got his foot stuck while playing in the water below the lower falls.
His father went to help... and got trapped himself.
Rescuers got the boy out, but were not able to save the dad.
The boy was treated and released from Mission Hospital in Asheville.
