Triple Drowning
Three people drown in a Pickens County pool, including an 8-year-old child. It happened at a home on Hamburg road around 4:45 Monday afternoon.
The victims are identified as 37-year-old Arnulfo Franciso, his wife, 27-year-old Maria Juan, and their nephew, 8-year-old Eric Sebastian. Its also believed that a 7-year-old witnessed the tragic event.
The trio was found at the bottom of the pool, in about 8 to 9 feet of water. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsies are scheduled for Tuesday. The Pickens County Sherriffs Office does not suspect foul play.
