A ridge of high pressure builds in today, giving us abundant sunshine and seasonal temperatures for a very pleasant Saturday. Expect highs in the mid 70's in the mountains and near 80 across the upstate. An approaching cool front will bring a few more clouds and the possibility of an isolated shower to the mountains. Lows drop into the upper 40's. The cool front moves through the region on Sunday, bringing showers and storms to the region during the later part of the day. A few of these storms could be strong to severe. The storms move out of the region Sunday night, with dry conditions returning on Monday.
