Asheville Girls Win MAC 3A, Top Seeds Win In CAA Tourney

Asheville High School girls team wins the MAC 3A regular season girls title with a 53-48 overtime win over 3 time defending champ Erwin.


The CAA tourney going on at Carolina Day and the top seeds rolled into the finals. The Christ School Boys and Carolina Day girls had easy wins. The big story for the Carolina Day girls, Haley Laughter scored her two thousandth career point becoming only the 11th player in WNC history to achieve that milestone.
