Carolina Day wins the battle of the top two teams in the state in NCISAA 2A by winning at Asheville Christian Academy 69-53/ ACA's Kelly Barnett scores 18 and  became the school's all time leading scorer with 1,196 points.


McDowell sweeps Enka, the Lady Titans have now won 17 straight MAC games.Reynolds boys beat Roberson.


Mars Hill senior quarterback Jon Richt chosen to play in Saturday's Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in Montgomery, Alabama. He is one of 6 division two players in the game for Richt's squad--the Stripes.
