Asheville High boys team pulls into a first place tie with McDowell for the overall MAC lead after beating the Titans 73-59. McDowell still is the MAC 4A leader, while Asheville is the MAC 3A leader.
Roberson girls get 18 from Cheyenne Logan to beat Erwin 55-41. The Carolina Day girls, top ranked in NCISAA 2A, beat the number two team in the state, Asheville Christian Academy 68-50. Haley Laughter led the Wildcats with 21.
Noah Suber, Roberson's Shrine Bowl quarterback will sign Wednesday to play at Carson-Newman.
