Davidson Edges WCU, Roberson Beats N. Buncombe, Scores, (1-24-13)

Davidson came into Cullowhee and rode Nik Cochran's great shooting night to edge Western Carolina 79-74. Cochran had six threes and a career high 32 points.


North Buncombe's Haylee Higgins scored her one thousandth career point, but the Roberson Rams too tough for the rest of the Blackhawks. The Rams win 56-35 and move into a first place tie in the MAC with McDowell. The two first place clubs play Friday in Marion.
