North Carolina had 5 players in double figures and wins at Clemson 68-59.
Western Carolina loses a key home game to Chattanooga, 81-72. The loss means the Catamounts can't get one of the 4 first round byes in next week's Southern Conference Tournament in Asheville.
Warren Wilson advances to the semifinals of the USCAA National Championship with an upset of top seed New Hampshire Technical Institute 79-75. The Owls play Penn State Beaver in the semis Friday.
Ten area prep teams are in sectional final games Friday. Wins on Friday mean a trip to the regionals next week.
