Pisgah Loses State Title Game, UNC and Miami Win in the ACC Semis (3-16-13)

The Pisgah Girls Basketball Team loses the State Championship game, 51-40 to Kinston. Sheridan
Pressley and Brooklyn Allen each had 13 points and four rebounds to
lead Pigsah.  Mariah Lewis had seven points and eight rebounds.  Pisgah was trying to win its first State Title in Girls Basketball since 1989.  

UNC beats Maryland 79-76 in the ACC Semifinals in Greensboro.  Dexter Strickland and Reggie Bullock lead the Tar Heels with 15 points apiece.  P.J. Hairston and James Michael McAdoo chip in with 13 points apiece.  The Tar Heels will play the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday at 1:00pm for the ACC Championship Game.
