UNCA Holds Off L-R, Christ School Beats ACA-Half Court Shot For Charity, Prep Scores (12-12-12)

UNCA wins its second straight with a 66-55 win over visiting Lenoir-Rhyne. Keith Hornsby led the Bulldogs with 21 points. Former Pisgah star, L-R's R.J. McClure had 10 for the Bears.


Christ School beat Asheville Christian Academy 70-48, Jon Elmore and Shannon Hale lead the Greenies with 13 points apiece. The two schools also raised money for Habitat for Humanity. One of the fans who took part in a 50-50 fund raising raffle won $200 for making a halfcourt shot.
