UNCA gets a big road win at VMI, 90-79--the seventh straight victory for the Bulldogs.


Hendersonville's Rashad Felton scored 15 points and got his one thousandth career point in the process in leading the Bearcats to an 85-44 win over Thomas Jefferson.


Christ School gets 24 points from Jaylen Allen and 23 from Jon Elmore to beat visiting High Point Christian 79-73.


Tuscola boys and girls get road wins at East Henderson.


Western Carolina with an ambitious 2013 football schedule. The Cats with three games against BCS schools: Middle Tennessee State, Virginia Tech and Auburn. The home opener September 14th against the Citadel.
