Warren Wilson In Postseason, UNCA Falls By One. Asheville Advances In MAC (2-19-13)

Warren Wilson College makes the postseason in basketball for the first time since the early 1990's.The Owls won their last 8 games and were chosen to play in the Division II Nationals of the U.S.Collegiate Athletic Association. Warren Wilson makes the playoffs with a 15-10 record.
UNCA loses its third straight game, falling 65-64 at Coastal Carolina. D.J. Cunningham hit a dunk shot with 21 seconds left to give UNCA a 64-63 lead, but Coastal gets a jumper from Kierre Greenwood with 5 seconds left to give the Chanticleers the one point win.
Cameron Ray scored 24 points to lead top seed Asheville High to an easy 87-51 win over fourth seed North Buncombe in the MAC semis. They will play Enka for the championship Friday at 8.
