WCU Buzzer Beater, Ryan Kelly Leads Duke Over Miami, State Wrestling Champions (3-2-13)

Freshman, Mike Brown hits a buzzer beating jumper at the end of the first overtime period as Western Carolina beats Samford 56-54.  Western Carolina will play The Citadal on Friday, March 8th at 8:30pm at the U.S. Cellular Center in Downtown Asheville.

Ryan Kelly scores a career high 36 points as #3 Duke beats #5 Miami 79-76 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Kelly was 7-9 from three-point range.  Duke improves to 12-4 in the ACC. 

Seven high school wrestlers from the Western North Carolina area are State Champions.  Bryan Wallace and Matthew Parce from Hendersonville.  Kacee Hutchinson and Andrew Franklin from Enka.  Spencer McCoy and Zak Orr from Robbinsville.  Mitchel Langford from North Henderson.
