The Brevard College football team will be sporting a new look this upcoming year thanks to Adidas. The Tornados announced Monday morning that they have signed an agreement with the German manufacturing giant.

“Outfitting our program from headband to cleats in three stripes places Brevard College in the same league as Louisville, Texas A&M, and the ‘U” (Miami Hurricanes) in terms of football apparel,” remarked Dynomite Kuhn, who spearheaded the campaign to get a new uniform partner. “From a recruiting perspective this is a significant plus for us, but paramount to making the change was the functionality of both the practice gear and the sideline apparel. The last two programs I have been affiliated with were also Adidas schools, so familiarity with the brand was helpful in the decision process, as was the expert input from a former colleague, Jeremy Taylor. Additionally, Gregg Nelson of First Team Sports of the Carolinas lives right here in Brevard. I have every confidence that we will receive unparalleled service from our local rep and that we will look sharp on game days.”

This week, players hit the fitting rooms to be sized in a sample jersey for their new game day uniform. Head coach, Bill Khayat, said, “We are pleased that the new era of Brevard College Football is accompanied by this new look. Adidas is superior in terms of apparel, and the excitement this change has generated in our players can only be seen as another positive aspect of their commitment to bringing success to the program.”
