Waynesville Judo Captures Three North Carolina State Championships

WAYNESVILLE, N.C. -- The Waynesville Kodokan Judo Club has been busy racking up the medals over the last few weeks.

The club traveled to Atlanta on August 22 and claimed four medals out of six players. Trevor Daly and Kaden Muse won the gold while Logan Norman and Logan Grasty won the silver medal.

The next weekend the club traveled to Winston-Salem for the North Carolina State Championships. Jessi Shell, Logan Grasty and Logan Norman all won the gold. Brothers Kolby and Kaden Muse won the bronze medal. Also competing were Dan Norman and Kendrick Rouch. Logan Norman also traveled to Fayetteville for the Hometown Heroes Tournament and won the gold medal.

Sensei Riggs is proud of all the students at the Waynesville Kodokan Club. They have all been playing well.
