Cam Newton has been medically cleared to play in the Carolina Panthers next preseason game against the Chiefs.  Newton in continuing to rehab his surgically repaired left ankle.  Head Coach, Ron Rivera said there will be no limits on what Cam will be able to do. 

The Asheville Tourists win their series against West Virginia, beating the Power 5-3 on Sunday.  The Tourists remain in first place in the South Atlantic League.  They begin a new series on Monday night in Savannah.
