Prep Football Recap: Asheville, Owen and Rosman Win, North Henderson Volleyball Wins Tournament at Davidson College, Mason Plumlee Makes Team USA Final Roster (8-23-14) story image
Asheville's football team starts off the season with an impressive 49-14 victory over Hendersonville. 

Jager Gardner shines for Owen, rushing for 266 yards and four touchdowns as the Warhorses defeat Enka, 49-20. 

Rosman gets 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns from Tanner Green.  Rosman beats Brevard 28-14. 

North Henderson's volleyball team wins the Best of the Best Tournament at Davidson College.  16 varsity volleyball teams from North and South Carolina competed in the tournament. 

Former Christ School basketball star, Mason Plumlee is one of 12 NBA stars to make the final roster for Team USA Basketball.  The Americans are getting ready to compete in the FIBA World Championships in Spain.
