Tourists Muster Only 2 Hits and Lose to the Power 10-0, WCU Football Plays Solid Scrimmage in Cullowhee (8-9-14) story image
The Asheville Tourists get only two hits on Saturday night against West Virginia.  The Power shut out the Tourists 10-0.  The Tourists will play against the Power again on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00pm. 

The Western Carolina Catamounts football team plays an intra-squad scrimmage Saturday afternoon on campus in Cullowhee.  The Catamounts worked through about 127 plays in 23 series.  The WCU offense scored two touchdowns and made three field goals.  The defense forced four punts and racked up three safeties.
