Many people filled up on turkey,
then hit the stores to fill up with shopping deals. Several stores accommodated
them by opening on Thanksgiving Day. Many waited in line for hours, even

at 530 in the afternoon,” says Joseph Kimmel to ensure he’d be first in line at
Best Buy in Arden.
“I’m getting a 50 inch TV
and a computer and some other things like movies and stuff,” he says.
Susan Chesna lined up too
at Best Buy, the line of hundreds stretching around the building.
“I was the 4th group that they let in because
they're only letting a few people in at a time.. But I got what I wanted,” says Chesna.
Target also experienced
long lines opening at 6 pm on Thanksgiving.
“I’ve been here since 12
and we’ve just been taking turns when it gets too cold going to the car,” says
Kmart opened Thanksgiving
morning at 6.
“They said I saved 150
dollars. So hopefully that helps,” says Ashley Livingston.
