Police Raid Home
Police made a surprise raid this morning at a home in Arden where they arrested a man for possessing and selling drugs. Neighbors reported hearing a loud bang around 6:30 a.m. Friday near the home at 3820 Sweeten Creek Road.
Police say members of their elite Emergency Response Team made a surprise tactical entry into the home to execute a search warrant and make an arrest. Officers arrested 36-year-old Castonia Jones for possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to sell and possession of a stolen fire arm. He was also arrested on existing warrants for assault and trespass.
Jones is now being held in the Buncombe county detention facility under a $5500.00 secured bond.
