Storm Drain Rescue

A Candler man is lucky to be alive after he was swept through a culvert at his home Wednesday night.  Floyd Johnson, 72,  says he was trying to remove tree branches from a storm pipe when he fell into the creek. He tried getting out but was eventually sucked through the pipe.  Johnson was not seriously hurt but he says he felt like a human "roto rooter" after the incident. Johnson is confident that he cleared all of the debris out of the pipe with his body.
