Wrestler Ric Savage Visits News 13
A mountain-born wrestler and reality-TV star pays News 13 This Morning a visit.
Ric Savage and his friend, Gary Benfield, stopped by the studio to talk about an exciting upcoming event to help give back.
Tonight is a benefit wrestling exhibition at Bike Night, for Gary Benfield and WNC High Velocity Wrestling. Benfield's son passed away in February from Cerebral Palsy when he was only 15. Benfield was his step-dad for 13 of those years.
Benfield is continuing the legacy of his son, Jackie, in forming a foundation in his name to purchase wheelchairs and communication devices for other children with Cerebral Palsy.
Ric Savage will be at Bike Night in support of Benfield, WNC High Velocity Wrestling and the Jackie Chandler Praytor Foundation.
