Mowing for Moore, OK

DALHART, Texas - An 11-year old boy spent all summer mowing lawns in up to 104 degree heat. He donated the $16,000 he made to help tornado victims in Moore, Oklahoma.

Dyllon Orthman's the boy's name, and he told ABC news that he got the idea from a school fundraiser in June. The school was raising money for Oklahoma tornado victims, and Dyllon wanted to help out after seeing the devastation. Dyllon then vowed to spend the whole summer mowing lawns for donations.

So far, Dyllon's mowed 87 lawns and raised $16,000, according to ABC news. Included in that number is $10,000 that one Oklahoma company donated in Dyllon's name, according to Dyllon's mom.

"It really feels good," Dyllon Orthman told ABC News. "I help them because they need the money, and they help me because it makes me feel good."
