Potato Chip Cookies

1/2 Pound butter
1/2 Cup white sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 3/4 Cup flour
3/4 Cup potato chips, crushed
Powdered sugar

  1. Cream butter, vanilla and sugar. Add flour gradually. When smooth add potato chips.
  2. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  4. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Tip: To make a cookie with the texture of a cake, mix shortening, eggs, sugar and liquid together, then gently fold in flour and leavening agent. If you want a denser cookie, just mix the ingredients slowly.
