Sweet & Spicy Bacon

One package of bacon strips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mix brown sugar and cayenne together and set on a plate
  3. Place one strip of bacon in cayenne sugar mixture and coat
  4. Flip bacon strip and press spice mixture in well
  5. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil (the drippings will burn and be hard to clean)
  6. Place the bacon strip on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet
  7. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
  8. Using a pair of tongs, turn each slice and continue to bake until brown and shiny
  9. Allow bacon to cool fully before enjoying or adding to other recipes

Note: You can leave out the cayenne
