My Aunt Deanne's Oatmeal Cookies

1 Cup butter Crisco
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup white sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 Cups self rising flower
3 Cups quick oaks.
- Cream together Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and oats.
- Now is the time for decision making - do I add nuts? If so a cup
- Do I add raisins? If so a cup..or do I had cranraisins? Whatever - add a cup.
- Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Press down with a wet fork.
- Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
