My Aunt Deanne's Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup butter Crisco
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup white sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 Cups self rising flower
3 Cups quick oaks.
 
Instructions
  1. Cream together Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla.  Add flour and oats.
  2. Now is the time for decision making - do I add nuts?  If so a cup
  3. Do I add raisins?  If so a cup..or do I had cranraisins?  Whatever - add a cup.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Press down with a wet fork.
  6. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
