A bride-to-be wants her deposit money back from a mountain event facility that's about to go on the auction block.
Jennifer Kelley reserved Apple Hill Farms in Haywood County for an August 10th wedding. But she canceled her reservation after learning the facility was scheduled for a foreclosure sale later this month. She says her $2,500 deposit should be returned.
Apple Hill Farms operator Tandi Haas says she broke her contract. She also says she has a private investor purchasing the farm so she'll be able to keep it and continue having weddings. Kelley did find a place to get married August 10th in Fletcher. And Haas says she's willing to talk with her about her deposit.
