Remembering Jordan

A somber night in Hendersonville as friends and loved ones mourn the loss of a West Henderson High School graduate. Jordan Kitchen was killed in a work related accident over the weekend.

A crowd of about a hundred people filled the bleachers at the school's football stadium. Dressed in red white and blue, several people held candles and balloons. Some folks even wrote special messages written to Kitchen on their balloons. His loved ones spoke about Kitchen's character and how great of a guy he was.
Kitchen was an avid golfer who dreamed of being a professional. His golf hat was tied to a bunch of balloons, which were then released by his mother and girlfriend.

There have been several funds set up in Jordan Kitchen's name. The money raised will help pay for his funeral expenses. News 13 has been informed that donations will be accepted at the Etowah Valley Pro Shop, Macon Bank and at West Henderson High School.
