An investigation by the Fletcher Police Department resulted in the seizure of 75 marijuana plants, processed marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. This past Thursday officers with Fletcher and Hendersonville Police Departments, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation served a search warrant at 30 Fawnhurst Lane in Fletcher.
Arrested and charged was Todd Michael Stimson, 42, of 30 Fawnhurst Lane in Fletcher. He was charged with one count each of Manufacturing Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep Controlled Substances, Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Controlled Substances, Felony Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Stimson received a $22,500 secured bond. The illegal plants have a potential street value in excess of $180,000.00.
Also arrested on the same day at a separate apartment on the property was Charles Derrick Sumner, 36, of 40 A Fawnhurst Lane. He was charged with Possession of Schedule I and VI drugs which consisted of mushrooms, marijuana, and Salvia. Sumner received a $2,500.00 secured bond.
