Asheville Middle School MLK March
Martin Luther King Jr.'s most famous speech made echoes around the world today, including in Asheville.
About 600 students and faculty members of Asheville Middle School marched to remember the 50th anniversary.
They marched from the school to Patton Avenue and back, a total of two miles.
The march was complete with a police escort and homemade signs commemorating the historic moment.
The school also let freedom ring by ringing a bell at exactly 3 p.m.
That's the exact hour when King delivered his "I Have A Dream" speech in Washington, D.C.
