Marijuana Growing Operation Bust

Deputies raid a marijuana growing operation at a home in a Madison County.

They've charged Anna Furguson with manufacturing pot and are looking for her boyfriend, Joseph Fredrick Robas III.

Deputies also seized more than $6,000 in cash, 10 pounds of the finished product, and guns.

Authorities found 84 marijuana plants, in various stages of production, inside the Madison County garage.

They also found shotguns, a rifle, and a pistol.

They also took the equipment it takes to manufacture pot indoors.

The sheriff says deputies got a tip about the operation last week and began surveillance.

They raided the residence last night.

Sheriff Buddy Harwood, Madison County, "it's a typical marijuana grow with a finished product, guns, ammunition, cash, marijuana plants, from the beginning stage to the finished product stage."

There's no totals of what all of this is worth on the street, but deputies say it appears the couple had plenty of customers.

They're still looking for Joseph Fredrick Robas III and they urge people not to approach him as he may have additional weapons.

Anyone who know where he is can call the Madison County Sheriff's Office at 828-649-2721.
