Powerball Players Rush For Riches
Across the mountains, the lottery has folks rushing for riches.
The drawing is tonight for a Powerball jackpot of $400 million. That's the fifth highest lottery payout ever.
Since increasing ticket prices to two dollars last year, jackpots have soared.
The odds of winning the big prize are one in $175 million, and many of us like to dream of being the "one."
"My thoughts is of winning it! Hope to be winning it," says Allen Gilliam of Arden. "I'd take care of my mother. And after I took care of my of my family and friends i'd actually try to take care of other people."
Because of Powerball's huge payouts lately, "Mega Millions" is upping its game.
Changes starting this month are expected to make the jackpots jump while keeping ticket prices at $1.
