An Amber Alert has been issued in South Carolina for a girl and her mother who were both abducted in Berkeley County.

Authorities say LeAndre Shalaunti Deare Jenkins, 17, and her mother, 36-year old Deandrene W. McHoney from St. Stephens were abducted from separate addresses by Telly Darnell McClam, 36, who was last seen driving a 2000 blue Hyundai Accent.

They were last seen leaving the area of Grass Lane in St. Stephens and were headed toward Highway 52.

Jenkins was dressed for school according to investigators and was taken from a home on Pepper Hill Way. Investigators have no information on how McHoney or McClam were dressed.

Anyone with information or who sees the suspect or the vehicle should call 911, your local law enforcement or the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.
