Robbery Suspects Arraigned
Two men accused in a violent three-state armed robbery spree, including a bank and restaurant in Asheville, are arraigned in federal court. Rocky Johnson and William Laws are accused of robbing the First Citizens Bank on Smoky Park Highway and the Bojangles on Tunnel Road last October. In court, the judge ordered them to continue to be held without bond. They were both arrested at a hotel in Hickory a few days later. The pair are also suspects in multiple robberies in the Upstate and East Tennessee.
