Artist's Death Ruled Homicide
Asheville Police now say the death of a local artist is a homicide.
Christopher Ortega's body was found in his North Asheville apartment on October 28th. At the time, police called it a suspicious death. Autopsy results show he died of asphyxiation, but investigators aren't saying what caused it.
Ortega's employer, Alan's Jewelry and Pawn, is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
